Visit Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells for the seventh Annual Wonderwool Wales Festival. It's your chance to enjoy a fantastic range of Welsh and British artisan products and an opportunity to meet the wonderful people who made them. A great family day out with hands-on woolschool workshops and events showcasing the best in Welsh and British wool and natural fibres.

Woolfest is a celebration of natural fibres, especially all aspects of wool, wool products and wool crafts. It has been organised by The Wool Clip cooperative since 2005 and attracts over 5000 visitors and wool enthusiasts each year as well as over 140 stall holders, farmers and crafts people.
 
Woolfest 2012 will be on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 June at Mitchell's Lakeland Livestock Centre
near Cockermouth, Cumbria.
 
There is something for everyone, from fleece animals and rare breeds, through fleece, tops, craft equipment and materials, to finished clothing, accessories amd unique hand crafted woolllen goods. Stallhoders are available to talk to visitors about their animals and their work and many will be demonstrating their skills.

The Knitting and Stitching Shows are the definitive and best exhibitions for lovers of textiles in the UK and Ireland.  As the name suggests, it covers knitting and stitching but SO much more; embroidery, felt-making, shibori dyeing, jewellery-making, card-making, mixed media... the list goes on!
 
There is so much to see and do you'll find it hard to fit everything into one day; hundreds of exhibitors selling specialist supplies that you can't find in the shops, galleries from leading artists and groups, plus hundreds of workshops to introduce you to lots of new subjects!
